Global Star Rating – the programme, previously known as the UAE Programme for Government Services Excellence, was introduced by HH Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The comprehensive system assesses and measures each department’s service centre performance on the scale of 2-7-star ratings. This is an official assessment process conducted under the umbrella of The Prime Minister’s Office.
